Junior Software Developer & Freelance Photographer
My name is Ivory and I am a self taught coder, turned JavaScript bootcamp student,
turned Full Stack web developer. I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. I began my career as a
freelance photographer which eventually led me into the media industry as a traffic programmer. I
eventually ventured into other administrative roles but found my happiness when I discovered coding. I
began building websites and taking JavaScript more seriously. I attended a highly intensive 12 week
bootcamp at Eleven Fifty Academy. I have gained experience working in groups using Agile and Scrum
methodologies, turning wireframes into websites, and writing clean and efficient DRY, object-oriented code
for dynamic websites and applications. I have learned how to use modern frameworks and libraries like
React, Material UI, and Bootstrap. I am also skilled at using backend JavaScript technologies like
PostgreSQL, Express, and Node.js.
I am enthused to continue my coding journey by utilizing my skills to make major contributions at your
company. I am willing and eager to RELOCATE as well.
